an interview with Quarters of Change

We got to ask on the rise band 'Quarters of Change' some questions about whats next for this breakout alt-rock group.

How did you guys all meet?

We’ve known each other our whole lives but it wasn’t until 8th grade that we really became best best friends….and It wouldn’t be until 10th grade that we'd become a band.

What inspired the name ‘Quarters of Change”?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the idea that a band name doesn't have “the_______” in it.

Tell us the story behind your new song?

“T Love” was written about a seemingly perfect love interest that was just out of reach. It’s an

ode to "tough love" in all respects….which is something everyone can relate to.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday?

We usually spend Saturdays writing, citibiking, poker nights, visiting Attila at his bowery

ballroom night shift and seeing a surprise band play.

What artists influence your sound?

RHCP, The Strokes, The Who, Polyphia, The Beatles, The David Roter Method

What is one album that changed your life?

Is This It? by The Strokes. It’s an iconic album that defined a moment in time, and put NYC at

the forefront of Alternative rock for a minute.

What’s up next for you guys?

WORLD TOUR.
